Madhya Pradesh's Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) JS Chauhan told- Cheetahs named Oban and Asha were released in the forest. Now both are roaming freely in the forest. These are among the 8 cheetahs that were brought to the KNP in September last year. He said that first Oban was released in the afternoon and a few hours later, Asha was released into the forest. Without disclosing the deadline, Chouhan said – the remaining cheetahs of this group of 8 cheetahs will also be released in a phased manner for free movement in the forest. Apart from these 8 cheetahs, 18 cheetahs brought from South Africa were also released in separate enclosures in Kuno National Park in February this year 18 Gaya Hai Kuno National Park currently has a total of cheetahs.
