OneWeb said that this mission is the second launch of satellites by OneWeb from India, which shows the relationship between the UK and the Indian space industry. The company said that OneWeb will provide secure connectivity not only to India’s enterprises, but also to its towns, villages, municipal corporations and schools in areas where access is difficult. This is the sixth launch of LVM-3. It was earlier known as ‘Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle MK III’.
