Union Home Minister Amit Shah said these things in a video address to BJP workers in Surat. He said that the massive victory of the party in Gujarat proves that Gujarat has always been and will remain a stronghold of the BJP. Taking a jibe at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he said that new political parties came to Gujarat, made tall claims and promised guarantees before the assembly elections. But, after the results, he was eliminated. Let us tell that in Gujarat assembly elections, BJP created history by winning seats out of total 182 seats. Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP made several election promises, but managed to win only 5 seats. Whereas, Congress came second by winning 34 seats.
