उन्होंने बताया कि सातवां सूर्य देव की गर्मी लेते हैं। तीसरा चरण द्वादश और चौथा चौरासी धूनी होता है। यह भी तीन-तीन साल चलता है। इसमें संत आग का गोला बनाकर तपस्या करते हैं, जिसे कोठ या खप्पर बोलते हैं। जिसमें संत अपने सिर पर खप्पर जलाकर तपस्या करते हैं।
