kerala train fire case : There has been a big disclosure regarding the train arson incident in Kerala. Yes… The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case said on Monday that the accused is a “highly radicalized” person who had arrived here to commit the crime in a pre-planned manner. SIT chief Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) MR Ajit Kumar said that accused Shah Rukh Saifi was fond of watching radical videos of controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik. On the basis of the evidence collected against the accused, provisions of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) have been invoked. The probe team has invoked Section of UAPA which deals with punishment for terrorist acts.

MR Ajit Kumar spoke to the media in this regard and said That we went to various states and conducted a comprehensive investigation on the basis of scientific, documentary and oral evidence collected and decided to invoke the relevant provisions of UAPA. He is very radical. He saw bigotry videos of Zakir Naik and others. He came here to commit the crime in a pre-planned manner. The senior police officer said that the age of the accused is 27 years and he had completed his plus two education from the National Open School. . He said that the investigation team has found evidence regarding the accused and the crime committed by him and is probing whether he got any help from anyone else.

Three people including a two-year-old child died

After getting the custody of Shah Rukh Saifi, the investigation team will investigate the Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express train. She was taken to Kannur on April to collect evidence from two coaches which she set ablaze . Three people, including a two-year-old child, were killed in the incident. Saifi’s police custody 27 will end on April. Kozhikode First Class Judicial Magistrate sent Saifi to police custody for day. Earlier, he was admitted to the hospital for the treatment of injuries sustained while trying to escape from the moving train. According to the police, Saifi has also confessed his crime.
