After the incident the passengers pulled the chain of the train after which the accused fled, while the injured were admitted to the hospitals. When the train reached Kannur, some passengers complained that a woman and a child were missing after the incident. At the same time, a passenger told the media in Kannur that the injured man was searching for the woman and the child. We have found the shoes and mobile phone of the woman.
