Gandhi said, “I want to ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi – what is your relation with Adani, who is being given airports in India? Rules are changed to award them contracts. Why are the rules being changed?” The former Congress president said the Adani group had no expertise to operate airports, which is a pre-condition for operations, but still handed them over to the business group.

Gandhi alleged, “Those who owned the airports were framed by central agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and then these airports were handed over to Adani.” He alleged that in Australia Prime Minister Modi was seen with his counterpart and Gautam Adani and a then senior State Bank of India (SBI) official was also seen next to him.
