BY Vijayendra Yeddyurappa, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, may try his luck from Shikaripura, a traditional seat. As BS Yeddyurappa has already announced his retirement from electoral politics, it is speculated that BY Vijayendra 2023 will contest from his home turf of Shikaripura in Karnataka elections. BS Yeddyurappa, credited with strengthening the BJP in Karnataka, has won from Shikaripura Assembly Constituency 35 seven times so far. On contesting from his father’s constituency, BY Vijayendra told NDTV that though the seat is his father’s stronghold, the party has to decide the candidate. ,
