The chief minister claimed that Karnataka has become the number one destination for investment and innovation because of the initiatives taken by the state government after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power four years ago . According to Bommai, during the Global Investors Meet held last year, the state had received a total investment of Rs lakh crore. He appealed to the people to elect the BJP once again if they want to see the state progress on the path of development.
