Ayanur Manjunath, the biggest contender for Shimoga seat, now joins JD(S)

Senior BJP leader and Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Ayanur Manjunath was earlier in the race for ticket from this seat, but today he left the party and joined JD(S). Now he will contest from Shimoga seat as JD(S) candidate.
