Lokayukta’s Inspector General of Police A. Subramaniaswara Rao told PTI-Bhasha, when the MLA was going to Bengaluru, we arrested him in Tumakuru. The High Court had reserved the decision in this matter last week. The case pertains to alleged demand and receipt of kickbacks for allotting a contract for supply of chemicals to a government company. Subsequently, Lokayukta raids recovered cash worth Rs.8.13 crores.
