Rio D’Souza, Principal of Mangaluru-based St. Joseph’s Engineering College, told that the college management has suspended these students coming from the Muslim community with immediate effect. He said that the administrative board of the college has decided to suspend them after an internal inquiry against these students. In a statement issued by the college, it has been said that the dance seen in the viral video on social media was done after the official program was over. The college does not condone any such act within its campus, which endangers the harmony between different communities.
