Kishtwar/Jammu : Jammu and Kashmir Police has come into action against terrorism and funding of terrorists. According to a report, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday raided the homes of five terrorists in Kishtwar district in connection with a case of funding and supporting cross-border terrorism. A senior official said that these terrorists are operating from Pakistan and are trying to rekindle militancy in the region.
Incident from Pakistan or PoK
Kishtwar Senior Superintendent of Police Khalil Poswal said that the houses of five terrorists were raided after getting search warrants from Jammu’s NIA court in the case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. These people are currently executing incidents from Pakistan or Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). He told that five teams of SIU and the police raided together.

The officer said that the evidence found in the raid will be used for anti-national activities and terrorism will be done in impeaching them for their roles in the incidents. The SIU raided the houses of Shahnawaz alias Naeem of Chirul Padyarna, Naeem Ahmed alias Aamir alias Ghazi of Jamia Masjid, Mohammad Iqbal alias Bilal of Kitchlu Market, Shahnawaz alias Munna alias Umar of Hullar Kishtwar and Javed Hussain Giri alias Muzamil of Kundli Pochal.

Please inform that the NIA court in Jammu 32 Non-operational forces against 44 terrorists of Kishtwar on April Bailable warrant was issued. These terrorists are carrying out activities from across the border. Earlier 26 non-bailable warrants were issued against the terrorists. Poswal said that people from Kishtwar 44 had gone to Pakistan following the path of terrorism. Two FIRs were registered against him.
