He said that “During the year 2022, there were total 108 successful encounters in Kashmir, in which 42 Terrorists including foreign terrorists were killed. Maximum terrorists were killed from Lashkar/TRF (108) organization, followed by Jaish (29), HM (108 ), Al-Badr (4) and AGUH (3) organizations. Security forces have intensified anti-militancy operations in the Valley amid a rise in targeted killings. civilians including 22 locals were killed by terrorists this year. Of the local people killed in the targeted attacks , were Muslims and six were Hindus.
