The Union Minister said that the government’s policy has been zero tolerance to terrorism and there has been a lot of improvement in the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Nityanand Rai said that the government has taken several steps to protect the lives of people, including media personnel, from terrorist threats and attacks. He said that proactive security arrangements have been made under which police, army and other security personnel are deployed all over Jammu and Kashmir to thwart any threat and attempt by terrorists or their handlers.
