The Army said that the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command was apprised of all aspects of the ongoing ‘Operation Trinetra’ by the commanders present there. The Army’s Northern Command said in a tweet, “Operation Trinetra is underway and Northern Command Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi is present on the spot. He is reviewing the operational status of the ongoing operation in Kandi, Rajouri, where the encounter with terrorists has resumed. Done.”
