Let us inform that the Ganga River Cruise was flagged off by PM Modi from Varanasi through video conference on Friday. It has been introduced as the world’s longest river cruise. It will pass through many states and will reach Dibrugarh in Assam on 1st March after completing its journey in 50 days. During this the cruise will cover a journey of 3200 kms. It covers 50 tourist destinations, including many major cities with World Heritage Sites. Among them Patna, Sahebganj, Kolkata etc. are prominent.
