High Court Justice RK Verma dismissed the appeal filed against the sentence. While canceling the bail, the single bench has ordered to surrender before the district court. Please tell that in the petition filed on behalf of Wafat Mohammad, a resident of Rewa, it was said that he was married in April 1995 Happened in. His wife died under suspicious circumstances due to burns in March . He was working in the field with his father at the time of the incident. The police presented a case against him in the court. During the hearing of the petition, the single bench found that his wife had gone to her maternal home due to dowry harassment. Due to reconciliation between both the families, she had returned 415 days before the incident. It was argued on behalf of the petitioner that his wife had died in an accident while cooking in the stove. The single bench stated in its order that the police had not found the stove at the spot. Citing the order of the Supreme Court, the single bench said in its order that suicide due to dowry harassment also comes under the purview of dowry death. With the said order, the single bench dismissed the petition. ,
