In this incident, an elderly paralyzed woman sleeping in the room died. The cause of the fire is said to be mosquito kill incense sticks or short-circuit. According to information received from Gohalpur police station in-charge Vijay Tiwari, Sitara Begum, mother of Raza Chowk resident Rasul Khan Sal was paralyzed. She was sleeping in her room on the intervening night of Sunday, in which clothes were kept. The fire broke out in the room at around 4.15 am. The fire took a formidable form in some time and smoke started filling the whole house, due to which other members of the family sleeping in other rooms also got up. The family members informed the fire department along with controlling the fire at their level. The fire department reached the spot and brought the fire under control. In this incident, the old man died of burns. To extinguish the fire in the woman’s room, incense sticks were installed to kill mosquitoes. Apart from this, the fan installed in the room was also found in running condition. Due to this, it could not be clear whether the fire started due to short-circuit or incense sticks. ,
