Jabalpur High Court – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion While hearing the petition filed in the case of not being given the benefit of EWS quota, the High Court’s couple bench of Chief Justice Ravi Vijay Kumar Malimath and Justice Vishal Mishra had issued a notice to the non-applicants and sought answers. In the petition filed on behalf of Pradeep Kumar Gupta, resident of Datia and Deepak Kumar Sharma, resident of Raisen, it was said that he had worked as an EWS candidate for the year 2018. Has appeared in the High School Teacher Eligibility Test held in He had cleared the eligibility test and was waiting for appointment. Notification was issued by the government for the appointment of thousand posts, out of which only 8,233 Appointments have been made to the posts. About 17 percent posts of EWS are vacant. Advocate Aditya Sanghi, appearing for the petitioner, told the bench that the EWS seat cannot be put in backlock as appointed. Government changed the rules at the time of appointment and are giving appointment to other classes on EWS seat . This is being done only because of cheap politics. After hearing the petition, the Jugalpeeth has issued a notice to the Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Commissioner DPI and Professional Examination Board, seeking answers. ,
