The Maharashtra government is leaving no stone unturned in the investigation of the Shraddha Walker Murder case. On Tuesday, the state’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of senior police officers would investigate the matter. The SIT will also probe the alleged delay in registering the case and the withdrawal of the letter in the matter as well as whether there was any political pressure behind it.

Request for hearing of case in fast track court

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis Fadnavis said that the state government will also request Union Home Minister Amit Shah to hear the case in a fast track court. Poonawalla appears in court through video conference
