The ongoing all-party meeting on Manipur has ended. An all-party meeting was called in Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The Trinamool Congress has taken a dig at this meeting. The Trinamool Congress questioned whether the government was ‘trying to turn Manipur into Kashmir’. It demanded sending an all-party delegation to violence-hit Manipur. In a statement issued for the all-party meeting, Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool accused the Center of “ignoring” the needs of the people of Manipur. Trinamool was represented in this meeting by Rajya Sabha member Derek O’Brien.
