What statement did the Congress leader give about Smriti Irani

Uttar Pradesh Congress Leader Ajay Rai had taunted Amethi’s MP Smriti Irani and said that Smriti Irani comes to Amethi and leaves after showing jerks. On a question regarding Rahul Gandhi contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Amethi 2024, he had said, Amethi has been the seat of the Gandhi family. Rahul ji has been a Lok Sabha member from there. Rajiv Gandhi ji and Sanjay Gandhi ji have also served this area. Rai said, most of the factories that you see now are on the verge of closure. Half of the factories in Jagdishpur industrial area are lying closed. Smriti Irani comes here, shows ‘Latka Jhatka’ and leaves. He said, Amethi seat definitely belongs to Gandhi family and it will remain so. The workers there and all of us demand that Rahul Gandhi should contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi there.
