Atul Gupta, a resident of Greater Noida, had gone to visit Rameshwaram with his son Shashank. On Saturday, he boarded a flight from Madurai to Delhi to return home. Atul’s health was bad in Rameswaram itself. He had food poisoning. The plane took off from Madurai at 2.01 Saturday afternoon, but Atul vomited blood in the plane. The pilot of the aircraft informed about the immediate emergency landing at Indore airport. The plane landed at Indore airport and the passenger was taken to a private hospital in the aerodrome area, but the doctors declared him brought dead. The passenger also had a heart-related ailment.
