Anil Bhatewara, who lives near the temple told, ..but this stepwell around 1983 was covered. We complained eight-ten times to the administration against the covering of this stepwell. Once a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) also came with a bulldozer, but he returned. We do not know why this stepwell could not be freed from the encroachment until the incident happened.
