Railways has gifted the fifth summer special train for this route. This train will run between the two cities from May to June. According to the railway time table, this weekly special train every week on Thursday morning .05 will leave from Indore at 10:00. This train will reach Pune at 3 am on Friday. Train will start from 415 May and Will run till June. Earlier, the Railways has started a summer special train between Indore and Katra once a week and from Indore to Bhiwani twice a week. Other special trains can also be available after Deepawali. The line will be laid from Rau to Patalpani this year
Regarding the rail projects of Indore, Ashok Kumar Mishra, General Manager of Western Railway visited the railway station. Took a meeting of the officers. He specially discussed the Mhow-Balwara section. It was informed in the meeting that the location survey for this route has been completed. Being a forest area, the team also walked a lot for the survey. The land acquisition work for the project is also going on. Approval from the Forest Department will also be received soon. This year the officials have set a target of laying the line from Rau to Patalpani. tunnel work will start Dahod-Indore project was discussed in the meeting. The work of new line from Indore to Tihi and from Dahod to Katwara has been completed. The work of the tunnel connecting the two will also be completed soon. The ongoing works at Indore Railway Station, Mhow Railway Station were also reviewed in the meeting.
