Detail In view of the cold wave in Indore, the administration has decided to close the school for four days. Order has been issued. All schools from nursery to eighth will remain closed from January 6 to 9. A few days back, the administration had changed the timings of the morning shift schools.
The cold is increasing continuously in the city. Normal life is being affected due to the severe cold. In view of this, Collector Ilaiah Raja issued the order on Thursday. In which it was said that the adverse effect of cold should not fall on the students. That’s why private, government schools from nursery to eighth will remain closed. Schools will remain closed from January 6 to 9, but teachers and staff will have to come to school. Schools from eighth to tenth will continue to operate as before.
Cold day on second day
It was cold day in the city for the second consecutive day. The day temperature on Thursday was .2 degrees, which was six degrees below normal. After falling five degrees below normal, the Meteorological Department considers that day as a cold day. Wednesday night’s temperature was 8.4 degrees, which was one degree below normal. If the cold wave does not subside, then even after January 9, the administration may consider keeping the schools closed. ,
