The airport premises were inspected by the Divisional Commissioner, District Administration, Municipal Corporation and senior officials of Smart City Development regarding the preparations to be done in the airport premises. New evacuation routes are to be made in the airport premises. It was decided to get the new gate, visitor’s hall, painting work done in the interior and exterior of the airport terminal building and electrical decoration, making selfie point, construction of car parking lot etc. With the approval of Rs 5 crore, the appearance of the airport complex will change.
