When the doctor objected to pouring less petrol, the angry employees thrashed the doctor with sticks. The doctor was seriously injured due to the blow of the stick on the head. According to the police, Gumashta Nagar resident Avinash Vishwani is a doctor in a private hospital. He had gone to have dinner with his family at the hotel. While returning from there, he stopped the car at Dewas Naka to get petrol filled. On the matter of filling less petrol, Avinash got into an argument with the petrol filling employee. The employee was drunk and started abusing the doctor. Meanwhile, Namita, the lady of the doctor’s family sitting in the car, started explaining to the employee, but the employee kept abusing while drunk. And started beating the doctor with a stick. After this, another employee of the pump also started arguing with the doctor and broke the glasses of the car. When the doctor protested, both the employees started beating him with sticks. He was hit on the head and blood started flowing. Namita somehow saved the doctor from the staff. After this, the complainant reached Lasudia police station to complain. Police has registered a case against unknown employees. The petrol pump is said to belong to a relative of an IAS officer and there have been disputes in the past as well.
