Apart from Cantonment Grain Market in Indore, the effect of bandh was seen in many markets including Marothia Bazar, Cloth Market. The Jain society took out a procession and registered its protest. The traders of Mahlarganj Traders Association kept their business closed. Apart from this, the cantonment grain market of the city also did not open shops supporting the protest of the society. In the morning, the office bearers of the Jain community gathered at Kanch Mandir and lodged a protest by tying a black band. Former BJP MLA Sudarshan Gupta also supported the bandh and demanded the government to withdraw its decision. Jaideep Jain, Arun Bakliwal, Pinkesh Toginya, Nakul Patodi, Nirmal Sethi raised slogans on this occasion. In the bullion area too, many traders kept their shops closed. In protest against making Shikharji a tourist center, the organizations associated with the entire Jain society gathered at Regal Tirahe. Samajjans took out processions from different areas. In which the men and women involved raised slogans and registered their protest. Social people said that there are many areas in the country for tourism. Pilgrimage sites should not be made tourist centers. ,
