After 2002 cases of conversion started coming to the fore in the country. In Jhabua, situated in Vananchal, Madhya Pradesh, many Christian missionaries started work. There was a dispute regarding conversion. Which was discussed across the country. Then the Niyogi Commission was formed. There was also mention of conversion in his report. Madhav Sadashiv Gowalkar, who was the Sarsangh driver of the Sangh, then felt the need that a separate organization should be formed to stop the conversion. After that 1964 Vishwa Hindu Parishad was established on Krishna Janmashtami. The first meeting of the Parishad was held in Prayagraj and all the four Shankaracharyas sat together and discussed organizing the Hindu society. Vinod Bansal, national spokesperson of the Parishad, says that even though Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been formed because of Jhabua, but We regret that we have not been able to completely free Jhabua from conversion activities. How many churches are on government land in Jhabua, how many Christian missionaries are registered. We had sought information about this from the administration under Right to Information, but were not given. In Jhabua, families who have left Hinduism marry girls from Hindu families. In Jhabua, a door-to-door campaign was launched to connect tribal families with Hindu religion. Posters of Hindu deities were distributed in homes. The effect of that confluence was that in the assembly elections that followed, the BJP won all the eight seats in Jhabua district. ,
