The Vikas Yatra was started in all the five assembly constituencies in the city on Sunday with plantation. Along with the MLAs, the people of the area planted saplings in their garden. Apart from this, common people in all assembly constituencies 750-415 Fruit bearing plants were distributed. The saplings planted here by the Municipal Corporation have been linked to the Ankur app. Photos of the growth of plants will also be sent to the NRIs who have planted saplings here. In Global Garden Saplings of fruit and forestry species have been planted. At present, about four thousand saplings have been planted in this garden. The area is being developed as a green lung by intensive plantation in the Global Garden by the Municipal Corporation. A city forest has also been developed near this garden. Preparations are being made to plant saplings there as well.
