In Indore, certificates were distributed to the residents of colonies which were converted from illegal to legal in a function. On this occasion, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava said that 196 colonies have been legalized in Indore. This will provide a lot of convenience to the residents. These colonies have been legalized with the cooperation of all the departments. After this, 125 colonies will be legalized in October. Tulsi Nagar will also be legalized next month. The Mayor said that the maps will also be passed on the houses built in the legalized colonies. Residents will have to deposit property tax, water and sanitation tax on time. Instead, the Municipal Corporation will develop in the colonies. MP Shankar Lalwani said that the construction of roads in illegal colonies had started. Now that the colonies have become legal, then development will happen at a rapid pace. MLA Mahendra Hardia said that Illegal colonies were like a bad stain on this city. The people's representatives also used to face difficulties in getting the work done there. Now there will be no hindrance in development in those colonies. MLA Ramesh Mendola said that for years the demand for legalizing illegal colonies was being raised. Now 196 colonies have been legalised. colonies that have survived. In future those colonies will also become legal.
