Along with Pankaj, his two companions Wasim and Nirmal Hardia have also been caught. According to DCP (Lokayukta) Praveen Singh Baghel, Naib Tehsildar Pankaj Yadav is posted at Amjhera in Dhar district. Ashish Soni of Indore had submitted an application to the Tehsil office to get the land at Amjhera renamed after the death of his grandmother. Naib Tehsildar Yadav first harassed Soni. Later demanded three lakh rupees through his substitute Wasim for nomination. Troubled, Ashish agreed to give three lakh rupees, but also complained to Lokayukta SP SS Saraf. On Saturday Naib Tehsildar asked Soni to give the money to his acquaintance Nirmal Hardia, he would start the process of name transfer. Soni informed the Lokayukta police about Nirmal and reached the collector’s office with the money.
