To ensure uniform cleanliness throughout the city, the Municipal Corporation gave cleanliness ranking to the city. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava told that the Swachh Bharat Mission has adopted this model and has asked cities across the country to implement it in wards. The awards were announced on Monday in a function organized at Rabindra Natyagriha. Best Ward Award Ward (Tilak Nagar area) got it. Many good works were done for cleanliness in this ward. Councilor Rajesh Udawat said that we have cleaned most of the garbage in the ward. A poha party was also organized at Beklein. 100 percent door to door garbage is picked up in the ward. On this occasion Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava said that cleanliness has taken the form of a mass movement in Indore. Now cleanliness has become a habit of the people. If a citizen of Indore goes to another city and sees filth, he does not like it. Due to the cooperation of the residents of the city, Indore will come number one in the cleanliness ranking for the seventh time as well. Two Safaimitras, a driver and a helper were felicitated in every ward. Hotel Sayaji, Shrimaya, Kokilaben Hospital, RTPC Complex, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Santha Bazar Market Association were awarded among clean institutions.
