He breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon at the age of . As soon as the news of his death was received, a wave of mourning spread among the social workers, public representatives and intellectuals of the city. Pritam Lal Hua remained a big name for the city. Dua did many notable works for the benefit of the city. He got Pritamlal Dua Auditorium constructed near Regal Tirahe. Apart from this, the corporation did not get the amount of Octroi. He made a lot of efforts regarding this. Filed a petition in the court as well. Eventually, the amount of octroi started getting for the development work of the city. He was also the founder of Dua Chamber of Commerce. He has also made important contribution in increasing the rail route facilities. He also contested the assembly elections on a BJP ticket from the number five assembly constituency. His last journey will go to Vijay Nagar Muktidham from his residence Anupnagar at 10 am on Wednesday. The social and political organizations of the city have expressed condolence on his death. ,
