The tiger has hunted more than ten animals and also killed an old man. This is the first time tiger movement is being seen around Mhow, whereas earlier tigers and leopards used to be in the forests of Dewas, Udayanagar. Wildlife experts believe that the pipeline of Narmada-Kalisindh project is being laid towards Dewas and Udayanagar. Permission has been granted to cut 9 thousand trees for the Indore Ichhapur project. Three thousand trees have been cut. Blasting is also being done for the construction of tunnels. Due to these works, the wild animals are being forced to go towards other forests. Wildlife expert Ajay Gadhikar says that in search of easy prey, tigers and leopards are going towards the populated areas of Mhow, Manpur. There has been a continuous presence in Mhow since day one.
