Detail of Mandi Board returning from Ujjain to Indore Director Mahendra Chauhan had an accident near Hari Phate. He has got serious head injuries. He was driving the car himself and was alone. His car collided with another car, which was crossing the road.

Mahendra Singh Chauhan had gone to Ujjain on Monday morning. They were returning from there in the evening. No one was with him in the car. Suddenly a car started crossing the road near Hari Phate on Indore Ujjain Road. The speed of Chauhan’s car was high. He could not control the speed though he applied brakes hard on the car. Despite this, both the cars collided. Part of the bonnet of Chauhan’s car was damaged.

People pulled him out of the car after the collision. He was bleeding from his head and his legs were also hurt. He was referred to Indore for treatment, however his condition is out of danger. Chauhan has been the Deputy Commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation. Presently he is director in Mandi Board in Indore only.
