According to the information provided by IndiGo about the incident, the passenger on the flight from Delhi to Bangalore was trying to open the emergency door flap in an inebriated state. On noticing the violation, the crew on board alerted the captain and the passenger was handed over to the CISF upon arrival in Bengaluru. At present the investigation of the case is going on.
