The people of the country gave Himveer nickname to ITBP: Shah

ITBP since its inception has performed exceptionally well in difficult geographical conditions and tough terrains. I visited Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, for the same ITBP jawans are called Himveer. The people there have given this name. I understand that the people of the country have given a bigger name than Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan to our ITBP jawans. This is a great achievement, as it is not an official nickname.
