The Indian Air Force will conduct a two-day exercise on Thursday amid the skirmish between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. According to the information, the purpose of the exercise is to test the overall combat capability of the Indian Air Force and military preparedness in this area. However, the exercise was planned long before the latest standoff between the armies of India and China and has no connection with this incident.
)Rafale and Sukhoi will be included
Sources said that the Sukhoi of the Indian Air Force-28 Frontline aircraft including MKI and Rafale jets will be involved in this. Sources said that all forward bases of the Air Force and some Advance Landing Grounds (ALGs) in the northeastern region are also to be included in the exercise. The Army and the Air Force have been maintaining a high level of operational preparedness for the past two years since the eastern Ladakh standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal and Sikkim.
China has deployed some aerial platforms including drones
The Indian Air Force had last week flown its fighter jets in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh following increasing air activities by China on the Indian side of the LAC. The deployment of some aerial platforms, including drones, by China in the region preceded the Chinese Army’s December 9 attempt to unilaterally change the status quo in the Yangtse sector in Tawang sector, the sources said. He said that the Chinese drones had come very close to the LAC due to which the Indian Air Force had to ground its warplanes and the overall combat capability had to be increased.
India-China skirmish video viral
