Eyewitnesses said that Rakesh initially stabbed Sindhu on the neck and head. When she fell on the roadside, he again attacked her several times accusing her of ruining his life. The incident took place at around 9.30 am and the road was full of vehicles. The police party reached the spot and took Sindhu to the hospital, but her life could not be saved. Rakesh was arrested from the spot. Sindhu worked as a home nurse and the incident happened when she was on her way to work.
