When 37 year old police Naik Siddeshwar Mali was on security arrangement duty in view of the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. When he and another traffic police personnel tried to stop the car on suspicion, he allegedly tried to run over the gardener, causing him to get stuck on the bonnet of the car. According to the FIR, Mali got stuck dangerously on the bonnet and held the vehicle with his hands. It states that instead of stopping the vehicle, the accused took it to Gavan Phata, kilometers away from the spot. The driver sped the car and later the traffic personnel fell from the vehicle.
