What is Hijab issue: Hijab issue started in Karnataka from October 2021. At that time, some girl students of PU College of the state had started demanding to wear hijab. However, later this controversy stopped. But On December 2021 at Government PU College, Udupi, Karnataka, 6 girl students wearing hijab were stopped from attending the class. After this incident, the hijab controversy came to the fore. Demonstrations took place in colleges as well as on the streets. After this the matter came to the High Court, then it was heard in the Supreme Court as well. ,
