Kheer made for Bhandara required quintals of milk daily, which the village Collected from people’s homes. Kheer was continuously being prepared in big pans. Large tanks were made of bricks and cement to keep them. Potato curry served in Bhandara was special. It was made with whole spices and did not add onion or garlic. The special attraction in Bhandara was Malpua made of sugar, water and wheat flour solution. The expert confectioners who made this were fixed. The most difficult task was to prepare such a large quantity of solution for this. Malpuas were made daily from about fifty quintals of flour. To prepare its solution, many mixer plants used for preparing RCC solution in building construction were installed here, which had to work for about ten hours daily.
