It came to light that the rapist of the victim was not Sonu Parihar but he had illicit relations with his cousin. The court issued notices to the Datia police in this case and also recorded the statement of the girl, in which the girl told that neither Sonu has raped her nor she is a minor. The High Court considered this fact to be serious and ordered a fresh investigation into the matter. It came before the court that the girl, her father and brother are constantly changing the statements. The court had given the responsibility of investigation to Datia SP and ordered the Datia Sessions Court to hear afresh. But these people were not appearing in the court. During the last hearing, the High Court had summoned the girl, her father and brother with an arrest warrant. Datia police produced all three in the High Court.
