When he stopped, he angrily started beating the Asha worker with slippers and also threw stones at him. Meanwhile, the woman’s small child kept on crying though the woman chased the drunkard out of the PHC premises. The police have registered a case in the matter. Resident of Kulaith, Tighra Police Station, Gwalior 415 year old Sangeeta wife Mahesh Manjhi is an ASHA worker. Presently he is posted in PHC (Public Health Center) of Kulath. On Wednesday, when Sangeeta reached the health center, Raju Pandit, who lives in the village, started drinking alcohol near the door of the center, when the ASHA worker protested, the accused started abusing her. When the women ASHA workers objected back to Raju who was abusing, the accused started beating him with slippers and When people came to save him, he pelted stones and ran away. However, showing courage, the woman drove the accused out of the PHC. Sangeeta complained about the incident by reaching Tighra police station along with her husband, after which the police registered a case against the accused. Now the accused is out of reach. After the complaint of the incident, when the police reached the Public Health Center to investigate, they also searched the CCTV cameras installed there. The entire incident has been recorded in the CCTV camera footage. Police have included the footage as evidence in the investigation. Tighra police station in-charge Suresh Singh Kushwaha says that the woman has complained that a young man assaulted her at the Public Health Center. A case has been registered on the complaint of the woman and soon the accused will be nabbed. ,
