Vice President Sanjay Reddy further stating in his statement that- GVK group wanted to raise funds for airport business. Meanwhile Gautam Adani of Adani Group contacted him and showed interest in buying the airport. Sanjay Reddy said that Gautam Adani had talked about completing this deal in a month, which was very important for GVK Group. Not only this GVK group also talked about their financial loans. While talking, he said that- the company had to repay the financial loan, due to which it was necessary to complete this deal as soon as possible. Explaining further, Reddy said that no other group had shown interest and therefore the decision to give Mumbai airport to Adani Group was taken in the interest of the company.
