The contest in Gujarat has traditionally been between the BJP and the Congress. But, this time it became triangular with the entry of Aam Aadmi Party into the electoral fray. At the same time, PM Modi led the BJP’s election campaign in Gujarat by addressing about 15 rallies and roadshows. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also in Gujarat for almost two months and was managing the campaign and election strategy for the BJP. Chief ministers of BJP-ruled states, including BJP president JP Nadda, Yogi Adityanath, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Himanta Vishwa Sharma and Pramod Sawant, also addressed election rallies in the state. Along with this, almost all the central ministers of BJP campaigned in the state. ,
