Especially youth and first time voters will take part in it. ,Jam Saheb appealed to the people of Gujarat to vote in large numbers Actually, PIB Gujarat said in a tweet on Monday that Jam Saheb Namdar Maharaj Shatrushalya Singh ji of Jamnagar cast his vote today at his residence in the presence of Deputy Collector and other officials of the Election Commission. On this occasion Jamsaheb appealed to the citizens of Gujarat to vote in large numbers. ,Special Voting Arrangements for Elderly Voters The Election Commission has appointed all Divyang and Special arrangements have been made for voting for elderly voters above 10 years. Under this, a polling team from the commission will go to the homes of such voters and while maintaining complete secrecy of voting, will get the voter to vote on postal ballot. According to the commission, a list of these electors will be provided to the candidates in advance and they will also be provided with the polling schedule and route chart of the polling parties so that they can send their representatives to see the polling process. The postal ballot will be kept safe with the Returning Officer. According to the commission, this is an optional facility and it does not include any system like the post of the postal department. It is noteworthy that for the 703 member assembly of Gujarat, in two phases 1 Voting is to be held on December and December 5. Whereas, the counting of votes will take place on December 8.
